Top Mile Logistics LLC Work Hand Freight Loader / Driver Assistant in Saginaw, Michigan
Position Overview Top Mile Logistics is hiring a dependable Work Hand to support route operations by loading, unloading, securing freight, and assisting the Driver during deliveries. A chauffeur's license is not required, though having one is a plus for scheduling flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading freight
- Secure freight safely according to company standards
- Assist with route paperwork, navigation, and customer communication
- Follow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety
- Maintain a clean and organized truck and workspace
- Support timely completion of daily route assignments
- Perform physical labor in a safe, controlled manner
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50--75 lbs throughout the shift
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Safety-first mindset with ability to follow directions
- Chauffeur's license preferred, not required
- Prior warehouse, moving, labor, or logistics experience (preferred)
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time role partnered with a designated Driver
- Regional routes -- home daily
- Physical indoor/outdoor work in varied conditions
