BayCare is looking for Patient Care Techs/Certified Nursing Assistants/CNAs to join our team!
Patient Care Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant positions are available with Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor . If you would like to start working in a dynamic hospital environment in a supportive team environment providing hands-on care for patients with a leader in healthcare, please join BayCare as a Patient Care Technician.
Position details:
? Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital
? Location: Safety Harbor, FL
? Shift: Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
? Shift: Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
? Shift: Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
? Shift: Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities and skills:
- Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED minimum
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
A minimum of one of the following:
6 months of PCT/CNA acute care experience, or
1 year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, or
Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundations (LPN) Programs, or
Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component, or
Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT internship, or
EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only
