Dignity Health Manager Sterile Processing in Sacramento, California
Job Summary and Responsibilities
This position supervises the staff and operations of Mercy General Inpatient and Outpatient Sterile Processing departments, providing efficient and timely coordination, direction and delivery of a quality product for patient care. This responsibility is to be carried out in a manner consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.
The incumbent's overall scope of responsibilities is the Inpatient and Outpatient Sterile Processing departments on a 24 hour basis
The incumbent is to assist the Director with the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of the budgets and staffing for the area. Responsibilities includes appropriate allocation of staff, equipment, and other resources in a cost effective fashion, and for developing and maintaining standards of care consistent with hospital policies and procedures and the Mission and Philosophy of the organization
To effectively discharge the responsibilities of this position, the incumbent must have a broad base of general sterilization knowledge and hands on experience
Job Requirements
Required
Bachelors Other Bachelor's is preferred or Comparable combination of education and experience
3 years experience in Sterile Processing Department in an acute medical center
1 year of which must have been at a progressive leadership
Certified Surgical Technologist, upon hire or
Cert Sterile Processing Dist Tech, upon hire or
Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Supervisor, upon hire or
Certified Sterile Processing and Dist Tech, upon hire

Pay Range
$43.10 - $64.11 /hour
