Job Title: Finish Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team on first and swing shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience completing high‑quality interior finish work in modular construction environments. This role focuses on precise installation, attention to detail, and working from drawings and specifications to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Install finish carpentry components including baseboards, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other interior finish details
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and installation
Perform precise measuring, cutting, fitting, and fastening to achieve clean, high‑quality finishes
Make adjustments and touch‑ups to ensure proper alignment, fit, and appearance
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet production timelines and quality expectations
Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards
Essential Skills
3+ years of finish carpentry experience in residential or modular construction
Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques, materials, and installation methods
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Proficiency with finish carpentry tools such as saws, nail guns, drills, levels, and measuring devices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman‑level carpenter with at least 3 years of finish carpentry experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Experience working in a manufacturing or modular construction environment is a plus
Work Schedule
- First Shift and Swing Shift available
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
