Cognizant Facets Technical Analyst in Sacramento, California
About the role
We are seeking a Facets Technical Analyst to lead and support end-to-end Facets implementations, enhancements, and production support for healthcare payer systems.
In this role, you will:
· Lead and support end-to-end Facets implementations, enhancements, and production support for healthcare payer systems
· Perform and manage Facets major version upgrades, including planning, execution, testing coordination, and post-upgrade stabilization
· Execute and support ITS upgrades, remediation activities, and compatibility fixes
· Design, develop, and maintain Facets extensions and custom components to meet business requirements
· Analyze healthcare payer business requirements and translate them into technical and functional Facets solutions
· Configure and support Facets modules related to claims processing, membership, enrollment, benefits, pricing, and provider management
· Develop and support applications and integrations using C# .NET, SQL Server, Angular, and Node.js
· Design and consume REST APIs and integrate Facets with upstream and downstream systems
· Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned database components
· Collaborate with business users, architects, QA teams, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions
· Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior analysts and developers
· Participate in production support, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and performance troubleshooting
· Follow SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and version control processes
· Ensure solutions meet healthcare compliance, security, and performance standards

What you need to have to be considered
· 7+ years of hands-on experience with Facets, including Facets Upgrade implementations, ITS upgrades, and Facets extensions
· Strong healthcare payer domain knowledge, especially claims, membership, enrollment, and ITS.
· Solid technical experience with C# .NET and SQL Server.
· Front-end and integration experience using Angular and Node.js, including REST APIs
· Proven ability to work across end-to-end SDLC, upgrades, enhancements, and production support in Agile environments

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 3/23/26.
The annual salary for this position is between $61,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
