Job Duties: The Aerial Application Loader plays a critical role in supporting aerial application operations by safely mixing and loading agricultural chemicals, fueling aircraft, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with pilots and customers. This position directly supports safe, efficient, and professional flight operations.

• Safely mix, handle, and load agricultural chemicals in accordance with label instructions and company safety procedures.

• Fuel aircraft safely and efficiently.

• Inspect and maintain loading, mixing, and fueling equipment.

• Verify chemical types and quantities prior to loading.

• Maintain accurate operational records, mapping data, and inventory.

• Coordinate with pilots and flight personnel to ensure efficient turnaround.

• Gather and enter field information into web-based mapping systems.

• Communicate professionally with customers and agricultural cooperatives.

• Assist with facility maintenance and site upkeep.

• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational compliance requirements.

Minimum Education Required

No High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of (3) months experience required.

To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate driver's license (class D) within two months of employment.

If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record.

Job Benefits

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.

Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
