Global Commercial, a key sub-function within Care Enablement, plays a vital role in advancing Fresenius Medical Care’s mission to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. The team brings together Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality medical devices, technical services, and impactful commercial strategies across global markets.
Goal of function: The Therapy Manager Critical Care drives the success of the Benelux region by putting the patient at the center of all activities, translating market and customer insights into clear product positioning and messaging, enabling Commercial Operations and Sales through expert training and support, and acting as a key link between customers, sales teams, and the organization to ensure effective adoption and optimal use of critical care therapies.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the BU Manager to ensure a harmonized, customer-centric marketing and product offering, including localization of marketing and product materials
Manage the local product lifecycle end-to-end, including market positioning, rollout, phase-in/out, and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure product, market, and organizational readiness
Provide advanced product expertise, including complex customer support, expert demos, and sales support through product knowledge and tactical input
Contribute to product and solution development by translating customer needs into effective products and services within established systems
Identify product training needs, develop and deliver training programs, and coordinate with HQ on training and material localization
Analyze marketing performance, market trends, competitors, and reimbursement data to support continuous improvement, sales argumentation, pricing guidance, and business planning
Support pricing strategy, annual business planning, marketing campaigns, and customer/account management through expert input
Ensure full compliance with quality, legal, and corporate policies and integrate company values into daily work
Your Profile:
Academic degree or equivalent qualification in medicine, ICU nursing, engineering, public health, healthcare management, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in a Product Expert, Product Management or comparable role
Background in ICU medicine/nursing, including extracorporeal organ support, is a must
Good understanding of the local healthcare system, market dynamics, and political environment, with the ability to assess interdependencies
Fluency in the local language (written, spoken, and presentation skills) and English; additional languages are an asset
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capability, with the ability to manage complexity, take accountability, apply business and financial insight to strategic decisions, communicate effectively across cultures, and drive continuous innovation and value creation.
Recognized clinical and technical expertise in the area of specialization, combined with effective action planning
Willingness to travel nationally, regionally, and internationally across time zones
Localized centrally in the region of responsibility (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg)
