ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY …
Join our Enterprise Data Platform Team to help drive Iron Mountain’s
digital transformation. You will maintain and enhance data components that power our integration, reporting, and analytics solutions.
We are looking for an engineer with expertise in Cloud big data, Google Cloud Platform, and SQL. You should be comfortable working in a remote, hybrid environment with global teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES …
● Develop and manage cloud platform components.
● Create automated data pipelines to ensure high-quality data access.
● Improve system architecture and resolve technical issues.
● Use Python to automate product development and analytics tasks.
● Research emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
● Collaborate in a peer-review environment to share ideas across teams.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS …
● Utilize DevOps and automation tools to minimize operational overhead.
● Contribute to self-organizing teams within Agile/Scrum methodologies
with minimal supervision.
● Advanced English skills.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
● 5+ years of experience in information technology.
● 3+ years of experience building complex ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow or Talend.
● Expertise in dependency management, APIs, and File Watchers.
● 3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies, including Python, Data Lakes, and BigQuery SQL.
● Industry-recognized certifications, such as GCP Certified Data Engineer or Solutions Architect.
● Proven experience working within Scrum Agile frameworks.
○ Deep familiarity with PaaS, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration.
○ Ability to rapidly master and implement emerging technologies.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
