Main responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing activities for direct materials for DMS Rzeszów (including supplier selection, pricing, contracts, and supply continuity)

• Involvement in sourcing projects: market research, RFQ, cost and price analysis, negotiations, supplier nomination, and contract implementation

• Drive and track sustainable cost reductions (e.g., PPV, VA/VE, re-sourcing) and maintain savings reporting in internal systems

• Manage supplier performance (Quality, Cost, Delivery)

• Monitor supplier capacity readiness and supply risks; support mitigation plans to ensure production continuity

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Finance, and align with Global Supply Chain and other BorgWarner plants

• Ensure data accuracy and execution in SAP and supporting platforms (Scheduling Agreements/Purchase Orders, pricing, sourcing documentation)

• Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing processes

Candidate profile:

• Master Degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering or similar

• 3+ years of experience as Purchasing Specialist in an international production company (automotive industry experience would be an asset)

• High communication/negotiation/ collaboration skills with internal / external stakeholders

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and production processes

• Knowledge of SAP (purchasing transactions and reports) and MS Office (Excell, PowerPoint)

• Drive for results, positive attitude to learn and challenge status quo

• English – B2 Level

• Ability to travel
