Temporary Fulltime position from 2/15/2026 to 12/14/2026 54 Hours/week 13.03/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $11.23 Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2093: Farmworkers, Farm, Ranch, and Aquacultural Animals We have a need for seasonal workers starting on Feb 15 through Dec14 to complete the necessary job duties related to the production of Cattle Worker will assist with cattle breeding program. Worker will assist with calving. Vaccinated cows and calves will be put out to pasture. - Once calves are old enough, they will be weaned and separated to prepare for sale/shipping in October and November. Weaned calves must be carefully observed for bloat and/or sickness. Duties related to the production of livestock will include the following: assist with calving.attend to animals grazing on pastures or range land; check physical characteristics, observe general condition of livestock and apply the appropriate care; examine animals to detect illness/injury/disease, rate of weight gain; apply or administer medications, vaccines and/or insecticides; draw blood from livestock; mix feed/additives; place mineral blocks; drive equipment to haul/distribute feed/water; insure fresh water supply; ride horses; confine livestock in stalls; clean/disinfect corrals/stalls/sheds; dock, castrate, brand, clip/tag and clamp livestock; maintain records on animals; assist with irrigation, hoist/stack bales of hay onto wagon/truck. Worker will also remove undesirable and excess growth from crops or farm grounds; replace/repair fencing; perform general cleanup of farm areas; drive, load/unload trucks; operate motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in the course of performing duties. Worker will assist with irrigation: Maintenance and operation oversight pivot lines. Irrigation will be winterized at the end of the season. Worker will assist with Haying: equipment will be serviced and maintained throughout the season, Hay will be cut, raked, baled, removed from field and stacked as quickly as possible so that irrigation can be restarted for next cutting. Worker will help winterize irrigation and assist with end of season repairs. Instruction and general supervision will be provided by the farm operator or a designated employee. However, the worker must perform required duties without close supervision and listen to, understand and follow simple instructions of the employer or supervisor. All tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned will be provided at no charge to the worker. The worker will be required to return worn out supplies before new supplies will be provided. Worker must crouch, bend, lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds in the course of performing required activities. Worker is required to drive ranch vehicles on employers property Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to heat, cold, dust, rain and other environmental conditions common in fields, including mosquitoes during certain seasons.
