Temporary Fulltime position from 2/15/2026 to 10/15/2026 50 Hours/week 13.03/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $11.23 True DON Dec 15 -- Oct 15- (First Time Processing this Filing) As the employer has purchased an additional 3000 sheep and goats, the seasonal need for caring for 9200 head herd begins when sheep and goats are brought into the feedlots in December and continues through season until yearlings are shipped in October. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2093: Farmworkers, Farm, Ranch, and Aquacultural Animals. We have a need for seasonal workers starting on Dec 15 through Oct 14 to complete the necessary job duties related to the production and support of Sheep and Goats. Worker will assist with lambing/kidding, shearing, responsible for predation control and death loss, pasture rotation and mineral supply, general doctoring, fence repair and maintenance. Care and pen cleaning for new lambs. Weaned lambs will be moved to separate groups. Some animals may need specialized doctoring/feeding as needed. Yearling sheep will be sorted and shipped at the end of the season. Worker may assist with irrigation and harvesting of hay and grains as the primary feed in support of animal production. Worker must have 2 months experience. Must be able to ride and handle horses in a manner that ensures the safety of the worker, co-workers and livestock. Worker must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 pounds. Most duties are performed out-of-doors and entail exposure to extreme heat and cold; dust, rain, snow, and wind; and herding hazards; poisonous snakes and predators common in range lands. General supervision will be provided by the ranch owner.
