Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Administrative Specialist - Records Archivist in Rutland, Massachusetts

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.30 per hour, depending on education and experience.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.

The schedule for this position is part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 1:00pm-5:00pm, with opportunity to flex hours after initial training.

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Through our residential and placement services in the community, we help individuals learn the skills needed for independent living and making meaningful life choices. We provide supportive settings in comfortable home environments and ensure that individuals have access to services that are appropriate to their developmental level, and cognitive, emotional, and social abilities.

As the Adminstrative Specialist / Records Archivist, you will:

  • Plan and oversee the arrangement, cataloging, and preservation of critical records and documents.

  • Perform document prep, such as cutting document bindings, photocopying fragile papers, and unpacking/repacking boxes of documents.

  • Perform high-speed and high-volume document handling, scanning, and image enhancement to convert printed documents to digital formats, while ensuring that documents are readable, accurate, and complete.

  • Effectively operate a high-speed desktop scanner, corresponding software, and related copiers to capture faithful digital images.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED

  • 3 years relevant experience in administration, records, clerical role required

  • Must be able to attend 3 days of paid new hire orientation Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm
