*SUMMARY: *Mine Operations: Successful candidates will be required to operate a variety of Haul Trucks such as Caterpillar 793 models Haul Trucks and Komatsu 830 models Haul Trucks and a variety of other equipment in a manner that is consistent with the company's safety and environmental policies. This includes established criteria for pre-operation inspections, efficiently staging at shovels and loaders, dumping materials at proper location safely, maintaining cycle times consistent with haulage profiles. All work must be completed in a safe and efficient manner while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect the company's values.
TSF Construction: Successful candidates will be required to operate a variety of Haul Trucks such as Caterpillar 777 Haul Trucks and a variety of other equipment in a manner that is consistent with the company's safety and environmental policies. This includes established criteria for pre-operation inspections, efficiently staging at loading tools, dumping materials at proper location safely, and maintaining cycle times consistent with haulage profiles. All work must be completed in a safe and efficient manner while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect the company's values.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
0-2 years of general mining experience.
A valid Driver's License.
Must be able to operate a 2-way radio and follow instructions.
Constantly willing and able to improve skills.
Follow verbal and written directions and instructions.
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
General understanding of mechanical functions is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of computer and tablet operations.
Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including drug and alcohol testing.
Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:General work experience in any industry, showing dependability and consistent work ethic.
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: *
- Demonstrates a steady and optimistic approach when adapting to changing priorities, conditions, or production needs.
- H aul material from point A to point B in a safe and efficient manner, causing the least amount of wear and damage to the equipment and mine property, while maintaining the highest possible level of safe production.
- Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management.
- Perform and document a thorough pre-operational and post-operational inspections to evaluate the safety and mechanical condition of the equipment.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, confidentiality, and code of conduct.
- Punctuality and reliable attendance is required.
- Consistently exercise discretion and judgment in job performance.
- Recognize hazardous conditions or situations and act quickly and appropriately to mitigate or eliminate those conditions or situations.
- Engage with all individuals on site to unlock value through responsible mining.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback on job performance and job duties.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, both individually and as team member.
- Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
- Willingness to perform ther duties as necessary to ensure the success of KGHM.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: *
- Ability to meet the required physical demands, including exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force constantly.
