As a Security Officer Access Screening in Rural Hall, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support site personnel and visitors with professional communication. You may conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
Monitor entrances, gates, badge activity, and restricted areas to help support authorized access and report unusual or unauthorized activity to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying out security-related response procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, perimeter, and designated operational areas, noting potential hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy concerns for follow-up.
Support truck, vendor, employee, and contractor processing by checking identification, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding access requests and/or delivery activity.
Minimum Requirements:
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
