ManpowerGroup Industrial / Continuous Improvement Engineer (Additive Manufacturing) in Rural Hall, North Carolina

Our client, an advanced manufacturing organization focused on additive manufacturing technologies, is seeking an Industrial / Continuous Improvement Engineer (Additive Manufacturing) to join their team. As an Industrial / Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Operations team supporting Technology Industrialization, Production, and Shopfloor Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and effective collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial / Continuous Improvement Engineer (Additive Manufacturing)

Location: Rural Hall, NC (On-site)

Pay Range: $45.00/hour

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 PM

What’s the Job?

  • Analyze current additive manufacturing processes (PBF LB/M) and identify opportunities for improvement in machine operations and related process steps

  • Develop and execute process control plans to improve machine performance, stability, and product quality

  • Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to monitor, track, and improve key process metrics

  • Design and conduct sensitivity studies to evaluate the impact of process variations in powder and post-processing steps

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and technology teams to implement and validate process improvements

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Experience in process improvement within a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and sensitivity analysis techniques

  • Familiarity with PBF LB/M additive manufacturing processes and related industrial operations

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
