About MiChild at Heathside Nursery
Heathside Nursery is proudly rated good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 43 children and has been part of the Mi Child family since 2020.
We are in Runcorn WA7, near the Heath office and local to Heath Park. We are also local to several commuting routes, such as the shopping city, and Runcorn old town, a 10mins walk to Runcorn train station and local to many more local locations.
Our setting has had a full refurbishment, and recently our baby garden has had a full re-design. We are lucky enough to have two very large outdoor spaces, offering our children and staff countless opportunities to engage in outdoor activities in natural environments in the great outdoors. We have on site parking facilities.

What We're Looking For:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), recognised by UK standards, demonstrating a strong foundation in early childhood education, with a focus on supporting children's learning and development in line with EYFS requirements
Experience of leading or guiding a team within either the baby room, toddler room or preschool room
Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework (Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social, and Emotional Development) and Specific Areas (Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design), enabling engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that foster children's progress and development
Commitment to promoting a fun, high quality environment for all children in our care
Ability to prioritise the safeguarding of all children, staff and families
Solid safeguarding and child protection knowledge, with a thorough understanding of EYFS safeguarding and welfare requirements, ensuring a safe, secure environment where children are protected and supported in their well-being
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues to support children's learning journeys, ensuring continuous progress and a holistic approach to development in line with EYFS principles
