Description
Robert Half Management Resources is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join one of our clients on an interim basis. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions and ensure compliance with financial standards. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and expertise in financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
• Conduct financial statement audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries to support financial operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for business process improvement within accounting functions.
• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) and Blackline software for efficient financial management and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong background in conducting financial statement audits and account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Great Plains (GPAC) and BlackLine.
• Ability to identify and implement business process improvements.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
