Eaton Corporation Group Leader - 3rd Shift in Roxboro, North Carolina
Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Group Leader - 3rd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $25.61 per hour .
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Core hours for this role are 10:30pm-7:00am.

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What you’ll do:
In this role you will:
Coordinate and prioritize daily activities as needed to effectively support area requirements.
Facilitate all appropriate duties during the absence of the area manager/supervisor with the exception of dispensing disciplinary action.
Cooperate with area manager/supervisor in the collection of data regarding the non-adherence to standards, policies, and procedures.
Encourage productive and positive behavior among peers
Coordinate and oversee “special projects” on an as needed basis.
Achieve an acceptable level of technical expertise (cross-training) in order to support their area of responsibility and other duties as assigned.
In the absence of or in conjunction with the area manager/supervisor, organize the following: All necessary component inputs to the assembly area; Organize temporary labor resources as needed to effectively manage all material handling and GP-12 activities.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Must have a minimum of one (1) year machining and/or assembly experience
Should have understanding of the process flow of materials and components to effectively trace and address quality concerns
Specific knowledge of equipment/tools/instruments utilized within their area of responsibility
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of the immediate area will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
