Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will assist in keeping equipment running smoothly, troubleshoot machinery issues, and perform general preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, including both new automated and older mechanical machines, conveyors, and other machinery.
Perform line maintenance on baggers, scales, bearings, motors, and gearboxes.
Troubleshoot automation systems, robots, and PLCs.
Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.
Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and automation.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.
Expertise in conveyor maintenance, robotic systems, electrical repairs, and PLC troubleshooting.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Skills in welding, boiler operations, and fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Comfortable with mandatory overtime during busy seasons.
Experience with maintenance of automated equipment and robotics (Preferred).
Fabrication and welding experience (Preferred).
Low pressure or special boilers license (Nice to Have).
Willingness to participate in company-paid training and certification programs.

Work Environment
Work in a sanitary environment where hairnets and gowns are standard attire for production staff. With a team of over 100 employees, you will be part of a group of 3 maintenance technicians working on the 2nd shift, then transitioning to the 3rd shift. The hours are from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.76 - $32.95/hr.
