This position is located at district headquarters in Roseville and has the flexibility to work in the office or a hybrid schedule that includes in office and teleworking time. If working a hybrid schedule, the incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
Join the Metro District’s Traffic Engineering team and contribute to MnDOT’s mission of connecting and serving all people through a safe, equitable, and sustainable transportation system. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual for a full-time Office & Administrative Senior position. This position provides essential administrative and data management support to help the Traffic Engineering unit operate smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include document and data management, access authority and workstation coordination, customer relations, and supporting updates to the Transportation Asset Management System (TAMS). Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and technological proficiency will be important to successfully work with staff and engage with customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Data management to include monitoring and maintaining data and documents for departments within Traffic Engineering at Metro District.
Data technology to include coordinating software access, employee workstation setups, submitting computer builds and tracking computer replacements.
Customer relations to include purchase order requests and helping with special office projects

Minimum Qualifications
Data entry skills sufficient to maintain accurate records and reports
Knowledge of document and/or records management systems sufficient to store, categorize, and retrieve electronic files
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Skills in using spreadsheet software applications, such as Microsoft Excel, to enter, compile, store, and retrieve data in a variety of reports
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (eDOCS)
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
