Position Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential HVAC systems while delivering an exceptional and honest customer experience. Technicians work independently in the field and are trusted to make sound technical and professional decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC systems
Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
Clearly explain findings and recommendations to homeowners
Provide flat-rate pricing options and obtain approval before work begins
Complete accurate job notes and documentation
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle
Follow company procedures and safety standards
Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Minimum Education Required
None
Minimum Experience Required
2+ years residential HVAC service experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver’s license with clean and insurable driving record
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Communication skills
Comfortable using tablets and service software
