TEKsystems Customer Service Technical Support in ROSEMONT, Illinois

What You’ll Do
Serve as the first line of technical support for customers via phone and email, resolving issues efficiently and confidently on the first call whenever possible
Deliver professional, high‑quality customer service to every interaction, regardless of product or issue complexity
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to software functionality, connectivity, and product failures
Clearly communicate technical issues and solutions in a way customers can easily understand
Accurately document all customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the CRM system
Collaborate with teammates by sharing knowledge, brainstorming complex issues, and contributing solutions across teams and locations
Assist with product testing, version updates, and new software rollouts to ensure a smooth customer experience
What We’re Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience
At least 1 year of customer service experience (call center experience strongly preferred)
Experience working in a help desk environment or hands‑on experience building or working with computers
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
Comfortable navigating a Windows environment
Familiar with basic installation and troubleshooting of Windows‑based applications
High school diploma required
Soft Skills That Set You Apart
Ability to confidently guide callers through troubleshooting steps, even if they are not technically savvy
Strong listening skills and patience when working with customers
Talent for explaining technical processes in simple, easy‑to‑understand terms
Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROSEMONT, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
