Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday OFF Pay Rate: $29.93 per hour Responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of Center facility, grounds and systems. Supervises maintenance staff in the absence of the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor. May provide supervision and training to Job Corps' Work-Based Learning assigned to the department. o Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data. o Performs repair and preventive maintenance to the facility, grounds and systems. o Inspects the work of other maintenance personnel. o Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. o Researches and recommends purchase of replacement equipment as needed. o May be asked to oversee the training activities of students assigned to the maintenance area. o May be asked to oversee the activities and quality of performance of outside contractors performing repairs and/or replacement of equipment. o Conducts periodic inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure working quality. o May coordinate activities with the CTT program, if applicable. o Conducts inspections and maintains code and safety requirements. o Provides supervision and training to Job Corps' Work-Based Learning students. o Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner. o Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards. o Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines. o Understands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities. Proactively maintains the skills required to perform job duties. o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. o Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior. o Provides quality services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs are met.
