RAD Independence Direct Support Professional in Ronan, Montana
Company Name: RAD Independence Location: Polson, MT (Mission Valley area) Wage Range: $16.50 -- $20.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Job Summary RAD Independence is a locally owned, Polson-based provider dedicated to fostering independence for individuals with developmental disabilities under the Montana Waiver 5 program. We are seeking dependable Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our small, family-oriented team. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train. Our mission is to provide high-quality, one-on-one support that empowers our clients to live vibrant and independent lives within the Polson and Ronan community. Available Positions -Full-Time: 30--40 hours per week. -Part-Time: Flexible shifts available; ideal for those seeking supplemental income or a flexible schedule. Core Responsibilities -One-on-One Support: Assist clients with daily living tasks including meal preparation, household organization, and personal care. -Community Engagement: Accompany and support clients during local community outings, social events, and appointments. -Skill Development: Implement individualized plans to help clients build social, communication, and daily living skills. -Professional Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs regarding client progress, safety, and well-being. Minimum Qualifications -Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). -Age: Must be at least 18 years of age. -License: Valid Montana Driver's License with a clean driving record. -Background: Must pass a mandatory Montana Department of Justice criminal background check and a Protective Services (CPS/APS) check. -Qualities: Patience, strong communication skills, and a high level of reliability.
