Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Job Description
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Plant Manager to oversee all operations related to inbound, outbound, and claims processing. You will be responsible for delivering objectives, covering crews in the supervisor's absence, attending and facilitating crew meetings, preparing and maintaining work-related records, scheduling the workforce, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Supervise all operations including inbound, outbound, and claims processing.
Cover crews in the supervisor's absence.
Attend, facilitate, and submit proper documentation for crew meetings.
Prepare and maintain work-related records.
Schedule workforce including managing overtime and vacation.
Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives toward best in class performance.
Manage day-to-day PRC operations while maintaining strict controls over process and procedure.
Lead hourly team in daily operations and oversee staffing issues such as attendance, vacation, and daily assignments.
Develop and implement projects to improve overall operating metrics and reduce budget expense.
Develop strong working relationships with UAW counterparts.
Implement a continuous improvement culture with hourly staff.
Lead all safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
Proactively address all safety concerns promptly.
Essential Skills
Self-starter with previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge or ability to learn current systems such as SAP/EWM.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.
Goal-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to demand accountability from all employees.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ years of previous supervision experience required.
High School Diploma required.
Proven dependability and successful team-oriented experience.
Leadership capability with proven examples from past experiences.
Willingness to work all shifts as required and work outside of traditional work hours.
Strong understanding of building safety, UAW relationships, and ISO Environmental Responsibilities.

Work Environment
The Brownstown Parts Redistribution Center (PRC) is a large warehousing facility that operates two shifts, where aftermarket parts are received, stored, and shipped to dealerships nationwide. The facility includes sheet metal and dock operations, with a strong emphasis on safety. Employees are required to wear safety vests and glasses at all times while on the warehousing floor.

This is a Contract position based out of ROMULUS, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.38 - $32.44/hr.
