Job Summary:
Responsible for oversight and direction of shift operations, ensuring compliance and cross-departmental communication to maintain continuity and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Champion a culture of safety by enforcing and improving CTI Safety Policies. Ensure all employees follow established safety standards and procedures.
Direct all 3rd shift manufacturing and distribution activities, maintaining a smooth workflow from job creation through completion.
Schedule, assign, and manage personnel and equipment for optimal efficiency and resource utilization.
Oversee accurate pulling, receiving, and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of inventory cycle counts.
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness across all departments.
Maintain attendance records, conduct performance evaluations, and administer disciplinary actions as directed by the Plant Manager.
Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations among employees and contractors.
Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments to ensure production continuity and customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
Position Requirements:
Good mechanical aptitude – manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution (metals industry preferred).
Strong understanding of inventory management, production scheduling, quality control, and personnel management.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with ERP systems a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
