Insight Global Electrical Project Engineer in Rome, Georgia
Job Description
One of Insight Global’s major clients are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support a hydro-pump storage plant in Rome, GA. Selected individuals will be responsible for the following:
• Coordinate between owners engineer partners, internal engineering departments, and internal operations and maintenance teams on a regular basis
• Review electrical drawings and schematics related to electrical power generation systems and assist with revisions
• Provide regular updates and reporting to Project Manager on project status

Skills and Requirements
• Knowledge of electrical power system design and associated components (switchgear, transformers, generators, relays, conduit, motor controls, etc.)
• 2-years minimum experience as a project engineer/assistant project manager
• Prior experience supporting heavy-civil or heavy-industrial construction projects • Bachelors degree (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Experience within the utility/energy sector
