C.H. Robinson Pricing Analyst in Rolling Meadows, Illinois
C.H. Robinson is seeking an Ocean Pricing Analyst for our Global Forwarding Pricing division. In this role, you are responsible for delivering complex, strategic, modal pricing solutions and analytical insights for both new and existing business opportunities. This role collaborates closely with regional offices, corporate shared services, and customers to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with customer needs. Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Execute pricing processes and service level agreements across the branch network, ensuring timely, accurate pricing support and integrity of data within the bid ecosystem
Manage complex and strategic pricing requests for new and existing customers across modes, products, and trade lanes, meeting established deadlines and SLAs
Analyze bid materials, gather and validate rates, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions
Conduct quality assurance on bid submissions, awards, and final rate uploads, maintaining strict compliance with operational policies and pricing standards
Maintain detailed documentation of pricing decisions and methodologies to support operational handoffs and transparency upon bid award
Monitor and manage incoming pricing requests via ticketing systems, email, and phone, delivering responsive support to internal network partners
Partner with Sales and Account Management to review customer costs, analyze volume and revenue trends, and develop actionable performance reporting and KPIs
Leverage market intelligence and competitive insights to inform pricing strategy, identify opportunities, and improve win ratios
Contribute to the development and optimization of pricing tools, processes, and best practices across the network
Track, analyze, and report monthly performance metrics including revenue trends, volume performance, and win/loss ratios to support strategic decision-making
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years previous experience in pricing
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
Experience with Winmore
Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence and partner
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrated prioritization, time management, and attention to detail and accuracy skills
Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Experience managing multiple RFQ projects simultaneously

Compensation Range
$49,700.00 - $105,000.00
The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
