As the Client Manager, Life Sciences, you are responsible for setting the direction, tone, and client-specific plan for success. You serve as a trusted advisor where sales, Life Sciences, and Siemens are concerned.

As the Client Manager, Life Sciences , you will:

  • Set the direction, tone, and client-specific plan forachieving agreed upon service levels and meeting expectations fordelivering measurable results

  • Position the strategic value of Siemens to key decisionmakers throughout the account

  • Understand all aspects of client’s business includingindustry drivers, business objectives and operational issues and connectstrategic Smart Infrastructure Buildings (SIB) solutions

  • Demonstrate an unrelenting focus on clients’ success;create partnerships rooted in quality and value

  • Take action to enhance client experiences and build long-termclient relationships

  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking andbusiness/financial acumen when interacting with customers

  • Strive to add customer-specific value through improvingbusiness processes by viewing situations from the customer’s perspective

  • Provide competitive response to customer requirements

  • Plan, lead, and implement sales plan to achieve revenuegrowth from new and existing accounts

  • Effectively manage the buying/selling process byinvolving a network of key players to solve customer operational issues ina cost-effective manner in order to help them achieve their businessobjectives

  • Act as a liaison between the client and all internalSiemens resources; attain commitments of resources required to keep clientprograms on track, follows up to ensure commitments are kept

  • Regularly assess opportunities for further marketpenetration by performing analysis of strategic business segments,evaluating opportunities for new or existing Siemens products in newmarkets, channels or customer groups

  • Provide accurate and timely view of key performanceindicators including account penetration, sales performance and the healthof the funnel/pipeline

_Basic Qualifications: _ _ _ _ _

  • BS Degree in Business or related field experience

  • 7+ years of demonstrated sales/account managementexperience

  • Must be well-organized and analytical with strongproblem-solving skills

  • Strategic thinker with good attention to detail andable to work in a fast-paced environment where time management and theability to prioritize are essential

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsIncluding strong negotiation, persuasion, presentation, and relationshipbuilding skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Successful with consultative selling, account planning,and relationship building

  • Experience with large account development and sellingat multiple levels

  • Team oriented, but comfortable working independently

  • Committed to excellence, continuous improvement andachieving success

  • Ability to work in a large, matrixed organization

  • Equipped to accommodate 30%-40% travel

  • Must be 21 years of age orolder and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

  • Legally authorized to work inthe United States on a continual and permanent basis without companysponsorship
