Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler ships, receives, stores, and tracks inventory while ensuring that all parts are handled in accordance with internal and federal standards. This role operates forklifts and other material handling equipment, completes packaging, palletization, and labeling for shipments—including dangerous goods and international orders—and prepares carrier paperwork and labels. The position also performs physical inventory movements and updates inventory through an ERP system.
Responsibilities
Ship, receive, store, and track inventory in alignment with internal procedures and federal standards.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, pallet jack, and stock picker equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately using RF scanners and related warehouse technology.
Perform packaging, palletization, and labeling for shipments, including dangerous goods, international shipments, and carrier-specific paperwork and labels.
Load and unload trucks and containers while maintaining product integrity and safety.
Conduct physical goods movements and record all transactions accurately in the ERP system.
Support shipping, receiving, and cycle counting activities to maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company policies and standards.
Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing warehouse environment.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance to support consistent warehouse operations.
Essential Skills
Previous forklift operating experience with counterbalance, stock picker, and/or reach truck equipment.
At least 1 year of experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, and cycle counting processes.
Proficiency with material handling activities such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, and order picking.
Ability to use RF scanners and related warehouse inventory tools.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Strong attention to detail for labeling, packaging, and documentation.
Commitment to following safety procedures when operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating multiple types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.
Familiarity with pallet jacks and other warehouse material handling equipment.
Experience with warehouse inventory processes and ERP-based goods movements.
Comfort working with dangerous goods and international shipment documentation and labeling.
Ability to read and follow shipping labels, carrier paperwork, and warehouse documentation accurately.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a clean, well-lit, and controlled warehouse facility. You will regularly operate forklifts and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, stock pickers, and reach trucks, and use RF scanners and an ERP system to manage inventory. The schedule runs from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., supporting a steady afternoon shift in a fast-paced environment focused on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

This is a Contract position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
