Americas Consulting Communications & Engagement Associate Director – AI & Technology Transformation
The opportunity
Americas Consulting is evolving quickly, driven by AI, technology and new ways of working. As a Consulting Communications & Engagement Associate Director, you will develop and implement executive communications initiatives that keep the Consulting business aligned, engaged and prepared for what’s ahead.
Reporting to the Consulting Communications Leader, you will lead executive writing and content development for AI and technology initiatives. You will translate established business objectives into clear, consistent messaging that drives understanding, engagement and alignment across the practice. Working across Consulting and Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC), you will ensure communications are coordinated, measurable and delivered with clarity and impact in support of Consulting’s priorities.
Your Key Responsibilities
Executive Writing & Message Development
Translate established strategic messaging into clear, compelling content tailored to different audiences and leadership styles.
Draft high-quality executive communications supporting AI and technology priorities, including talking points, scripts, speeches, internal announcements, business and leadership updates.
Ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency of messaging across AI and technology communications.
Serve as a trusted writing partner to senior leaders, refining materials for tone, structure and impact.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Execute communications plans supporting AI and technology initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery of key messages.
Develop core messaging, FAQs, cascade materials and supporting content aligned to broader Consulting strategy.
Simplify complex technical topics into accessible, actionable communications for broad employee audiences.
Support adoption efforts by reinforcing key messages across multiple touchpoints.
Editorial Excellence & Quality Control
Provide first-level editorial review of AI and technology communications to ensure alignment with Consulting priorities and brand standards.
Maintain a high standard of written quality, consistency and message discipline.
Adapt messaging to reflect evolving priorities and feedback from leadership.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
Monitor engagement and feedback related to AI and technology communications.
Partner with team members to incorporate insights into future content development.
Identify opportunities to strengthen clarity and resonance of messaging.
Stakeholder Partnership
Partner closely with the Consulting Communications Leader to align on messaging direction and priorities.
Coordinate with the Digital Platforms Associate Director to ensure content is optimized for appropriate channels.
Collaborate with Consulting communicators and BMC stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment.
Skills & Attributes for success
Exceptional writing and storytelling ability
Strong executive communications experience
Ability to synthesize complex technical material into accessible language
Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
Comfort working directly with senior leaders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
High discretion and professionalism
Ideally, you’ll also have
10–12 years of experience in executive or internal communications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Experience supporting senior leaders in complex organizations
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality executive materials under tight timelines

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,500 to $251,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,600 to $285,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
