Janitor / Machine Cleaner
Location: Rockwall, Texas
Shift: Monday to Friday; Various shifts available (1st, 2nd and 3rd)
Pay: $15.00/Hr. to $16.00/Hr. (shift differential)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Machine Cleaner / Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for cleaning production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces while following safety and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain manufacturing areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common spaces, and machines as needed.
Clean machines; around and near and production machines following safety procedures
Empty trash and recycling, replace liners, and clean receptacles
Restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed
Follow all safety rules, OSHA requirements, and company policies
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Report equipment or facility issues to supervision
Complete other tasks or special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
