PCI Government Services, LLC IT Project Manager (Information Technology Project Manager) in Rockville, Maryland
The Project Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing a wide range of technical and administrative project activities in support of CCQDER and NCHS initiatives. This role requires strong organization, communication, and analytical abilities, as well as experience managing projects in secure/confidential environments. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure all project requirements, timelines, and compliance obligations are met.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination and Communication
- Work closely with CCQDER staff to develop project timelines, milestones, and priorities.
- Coordinate with agency, technical, supplier, and program staff at all organizational levels.
2. Personnel Management and Compliance
- Ensure contracted employees completeNCHS Confidentiality Trainingwithin30 business daysafter contract award or hire.
- Oversee the process for contracted employees to read and sign theNondisclosure Affidaviton their first day of orientation and prior to beginning work.
- Manage staff performance, adherence to security protocols, and compliance with all project requirements.
3. Project Development and Execution
- Manage and develop projects with incomplete, evolving, or minimally defined requirements.
- Lead projects that involve:
- Video and digitized video recording
- Digitized database systems
- Text data applications supporting structured and adhoc research
- Oversee hardware and software selection, system and application architecture, network design, deployment, documentation, and user orientation in both open and secure environments.
- Manage projects operating within confidential or secure environments and ensure all security and privacy requirements are met.
4. CrossFunctional and Technical Collaboration
- Coordinate with the following groups to ensure compliance, security, and technical accuracy:
- Cyber Security Program Office (CSPO)
- Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO)
- CDC/NCHS Office of Informatics, Governance and Assurance
- CDC OCIO / Infrastructure Services Branch (ISB)
- Conduct final systems justification, prepare recommendations, and provide required signoffs.
5. Administrative, Financial, and Reporting Duties
- Partner with CCQDER program staff, Office of Acquisition Services (OAS), and the Financial Management Office (FMO) on all projectrelated contract activities, including invoices, documentation, and funds balance logs.
- Prepare and submit amonthly Activity/Status Reportto the COR summarizing activities across all tasks. Reports are due by the15th business dayof the month following the reporting period.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline.
- 8-12 year of experience.
