Crestron Quality Engineering Manager in Rockleigh, New Jersey
Work closely with members of the QE, Product Management and Development teams of the Flex product lines to shape Crestron’s Unified Communications test strategies, cultivate the technical environment, and lead, guide, and develop test resources. Oversee the Flex QE team, keep the team focused and organized in the fast moving, every changing landscape as peripherals and products are added in and out of Flex kits at a fast pace. Define Crestron’s Unified Communications test strategies, cultivate the technical environment, lead, guide, and develop Flex product lines test resources. Lead 8 QE Test Engineers and manage performance testing in troubleshooting, characterizing, and describing software defects. Lead detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Oversee estimates, prioritize, plans, and coordinate testing activities. Lead testing processes for new and existing Flex line products utilizing understanding/knowledge of test processes and test methodologies. Track quality assurance metrics and assist in developing and enforcing software-firmware/test development standards. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology (or its U.S. equivalent) plus two years of experience as a Quality Engineering Manager, Senior Product Architect, or System Analyst.
