Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $16.50 per hour
Hours: 1:30pm-10:30pm
Location: Rockledge, FL

What’s a typical day as Sander? You’ll be:
Using a hand-operated orbital sander and appropriate hand tools to sand and prepare cabinetry parts such as drawers and doors for finishing
Inspecting all incoming and finished parts to ensure adherence to quality standards
Reading labels and instructions to properly complete and rack finished pieces by order
Reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the Finishing Supervisor
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, following all prescribed safety procedures including use of required PPE
Completing paperwork for parts and supporting team needs as assigned
Communicating effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have good verbal and written communication skills and strong basic math abilities (required)
Can stand for extended periods and handle repetitive motions throughout your shift (must have)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
Bring at least 2+ years of related experience in sanding, cabinetry, or wood finishing (preferred)
Are able to operate an orbital sander and safely use various hand tools (required)
Can lift and move more than 50 lbs consistently, and are comfortable working both in and out of an air-conditioned environment
Can work the 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:30pm) and are available for weekend overtime as needed
Are committed to safety and quality in all aspects of your work
