Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Location: Rockford, IL
Pay: $75/hour local or approximately $3,300/week (travel option available)
School Year: 2026–2027
We are seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for in-person, school-based positions in Rockford, IL for the 2026–2027 school year . These roles offer consistent hours, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment. Multiple openings are available.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating students, providing direct therapy services, and maintaining documentation in accordance with each student’s plan of care and applicable professional standards.
Position Details
Schedule: Weekdays
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Length: 36 weeks
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Setting: In-person, school-based
Interview Process: Virtual interviews
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations
Provide individual and group therapy services
Develop and support IEP goals
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
Active Illinois PEL with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
CCC-SLP preferred
Prior school-based experience preferred
Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Compensation
$75 per hour (local)
Approximately $3,300 per week (travel option available)
