Job Summary
The Industrial Product Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring end-to-end industrial performance of one or more product lines within the Actuation business. Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is responsible for driving execution of delivery commitments, supplier performance, and recovery plans across internal operations and the external supply chain.
This position serves as the single point of accountability for product-level Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance, ensuring alignment between customer commitments, industrial capabilities, and supplier execution. The Industrial Product Manager partners closely with Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Operations leadership to proactively manage risks, drive recovery actions, and ensure stable and predictable product performance.
In addition, this role plays a key role in supporting the industrialization and transfer of acquired product lines into Safran, including coordination of work transfers to global Safran production sites, ensuring continuity of performance and successful operational integration.
The role is highly execution-focused, bridging strategy and operations to deliver tangible improvements in delivery performance, supplier reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Functions
• Own end-to-end industrial performance for one or more product lines, ensuring delivery commitments in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
• Serve as the primary industrial interface for programs and customers for product-related performance topics
• Lead development and execution of product-level recovery plans for supply chain and production disruptions
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Industrialization) to ensure alignment to a single execution plan
• Drive supplier performance management, including capacity readiness, delivery performance, and quality improvement
• Lead escalation management for critical parts and supply chain risks, coordinating internal and external task forces
• Support and lead industrial work transfers associated with acquired product lines, including:
• Transfer of production to Safran global sites
• Coordination of readiness across receiving sites
o Risk identification and mitigation during transfer phases
o Validate industrial readiness for rate increases, backlog recovery, and production ramp-up
o Ensure effective prioritization and resolution of conflicts across programs and production resources
• Provide structured visibility to leadership on product performance, risks, and recovery actions
• Support and validate implementation of major design or process changes impacting industrial performance
• Reinforce governance and accountability across internal teams and supplier network
• Act as the central point of accountability for industrial execution at product level

- Travel Specificity
This position requires regular travel to supplier sites and internal Safran production locations to support industrial performance, recovery actions, and product transfer activities.
Travel is expected to be between 25-75%, dependent on transfer product scope and phase of transfers, travel will include domestic and international travel, particularly during periods of recovery, ramp-up, or industrial transfer execution.
- Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to work in a stationary position and frequently operates on a computer and standard office equipment. This role may require movement within office, laboratory, and production environments.
The employee must be able to communicate effectively and exchange accurate information. Visual acuity sufficient to review documents and assess detailed information at close range is required. The position may occasionally require lifting or moving items up to 10 pounds.
The employee must be able to meet the physical requirements necessary for domestic and international travel.
Candidate skills & requirements
Education/Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace, industrial operations, supply chain, or program management
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional execution in complex, high-pressure environments
• Experience in supplier performance management, production recovery, industrialization, or product transfers preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong execution leadership and problem-solving capability in operational environments
• Proven ability to drive accountability across matrix organizations and external suppliers
• Strong understanding of aerospace supply chains, production systems, and industrial constraints
• Experience managing recovery plans, ramp-up, supply chain disruptions, or industrial transfers
• Ability to anticipate risks and proactively drive mitigation actions
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across executive and operational levels
• Ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments requiring rapid decision-making
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination capability
