Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This 1st Shift Production position operates from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm or 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves a variety of carpentry duties, including the use of measuring tape, pneumatic tools such as nail guns, hand and power tools. You will follow written instructions and utilize carpentry equipment. Comfort with lifting and maneuvering doors throughout the day is essential. As an integral member of our team, you will receive cross-training on exterior door lines, interior door lines, and the casing/trim/molding area. We encourage individuals with experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, or flooring to apply. This long-term, fast-paced opportunity allows for growth into multiple advanced roles.
Responsibilities
Utilize measuring tape, pneumatic tools, hand and power tools for carpentry tasks.
Follow written instructions and blueprints accurately.
Operate carpentry equipment efficiently.
Lift and maneuver doors and materials throughout the day.
Cross-train on various production lines including exterior doors, interior doors, and casing/trim/molding areas.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
Ability to follow written instructions and read blueprints.
Comprehension skills for assembly and saw operation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in woodworking, carpentry, flooring, or cabinet making is a plus.
Previous experience with pneumatic tools is advantageous.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
