Responsibilities: Sets up the cost control system and monitors and controls costs on contracts Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines Prepares budgets for contract work and performs or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines Basic Qualifications for Associate: This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline Strong computer skills Basic Qualifications for Program Cost, Schedule & Control Analyst: This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience Strong computer skills Preferred Qualifications: Defense Industry Experience Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data and figures Prior program cost control experience Prior financial analysis and/or reporting experience Active DoD Secret security clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $52,800.00 - $79,200.00
