Aerotek Forklift Operator in Rock Island, Illinois

Forklift Operator / High Picker – 1st Shift

Location: Rock Island, IL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (mandatory overtime as needed)

About the Role

Join our Rock Island team, where we specialize in distributing and repackaging parts for agricultural equipment, including combines, tractors, and other large machinery. We are seeking a motivated 1st shift Forklift Operator / High Picker to support daily operations by sorting, picking, and moving parts ranging from small boxed items to large components requiring lift assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort boxes and place them into the correct pick pallets for forklift operators

  • Pick and pack products, from small packages to large machine parts

  • Operate a high picker and utilize an RF scanner for inventory tracking

  • Load and unload semi‑trailers with completed pallets

  • Support general warehouse functions, including labeling, palletizing, and material handling

Essential Skills

  • Packing & packaging

  • Inventory management & warehouse inventory

  • General labor

  • RF scanning

  • Order picking & palletizing

  • Loading/unloading

  • Assembly & shipping

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of warehouse experience

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime

  • High picker experience preferred (training available)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
