Description
We’re actively building a pipeline of experienced Systems Administrators for upcoming contract opportunities with enterprise clients across the Charlotte area and remote environments. If you’re a hands-on infrastructure professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges, we’d like to connect.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (2016–2022/2025) and/or Linux systems
Administer Active Directory / LDAP, including user provisioning, group policy, and domain services
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
Oversee virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
Perform server patching, upgrades, backups, and performance tuning
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across servers, storage, and network dependencies
Support Azure or hybrid cloud environments
Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure role
Strong experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
Hands-on experience with M365 and virtualization technologies
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Scripting experience (PowerShell strongly preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a contract/consulting environment
Nice to Have
Experience with server migrations, domain consolidations, or infrastructure upgrades
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud)
