ManpowerGroup Property Maintenance Manager in Rochester, New York

Our client, a community-focused organization, is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager. You will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the Property Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Property Maintenance Manager

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay Range: $55000 - $55640

Shift:

What's the Job?

  • Monitor, report, and resolve property issues to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment both inside and outside the property.

  • Perform building maintenance tasks including small repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work or coordinate with contractors for repairs and upgrades.

  • Manage property-related equipment and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for scheduled repairs, inspections, and upgrades.

  • Handle property-related outside services such as snow removal, lawn mowing, and landscaping, including obtaining and managing quotes.

  • Assist with setting up rooms for special events, schedule and follow through on projects, and collaborate with staff and volunteers on property activities.

What's Needed?

  • Basic computer and email skills for communication and documentation.

  • Ability to use tools, ladders, and equipment safely and effectively.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and vendors.

  • Flexibility to be on call outside of regular hours for urgent property issues.

  • Experience in building maintenance or property management is preferred but not mandatory.
