Adecco US, Inc. Procurement Specialist in Rochester, New York

Adecco is currently hiring for a Procurement Specialist to support a major business integration project in Rochester, NY . We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage supplier inquiries and system transactions during a large-scale transition involving multiple legal entities and international suppliers.

  • Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

  • Location: Rochester, NY (Remote/Co-locate options available)

  • Assignment Type: Temporary (6-month contract)

Job Overview

This role is critical to the integration of purchase system transactions for Indirect goods and services across five legal entities and four countries. You will focus on incremental work associated with 1,400 new supplier setups, working collaboratively with Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure a seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inquiry & Escalation Management: Process supplier and GBS inquiries with a high degree of urgency. Resolve issues independently where possible using established FAQs or route to the appropriate responsible party for resolution.

  • Directory Maintenance: Build and maintain an internal directory of responsible parties to ensure efficient escalation and routing.

  • Tracking & Monitoring: Manage the flow of inquiries within a central mailbox, ensuring every request is monitored from receipt through to final resolution.

  • Follow-Up: Conduct disciplined follow-ups with various stakeholders to close out pending inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Reporting: Generate daily and weekly reports detailing total inquiries, volume resolved, and items currently in process to keep leadership informed of project status.

Required Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or a customer-oriented professional role.

  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English is required; Spanish language skills are considered a strong bonus.

  • Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with both suppliers and internal end-users.

  • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment during a major organizational integration.

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
