We have partnered with a highly reputable ophthalmology practice to recruit an outgoing and professional Patient Service Representative to join their fast-paced team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering a weekday schedule between their Rochester and Canandaigua offices. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys helping patients and can manage multiple priorities at once! Key Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer phone calls and route messages Schedule and confirm patient appointments Obtain and verify insurance information and patient demographics Collect co-pays and balances Assist with referrals, authorizations and prior approvals Scan and upload patient documents and maintain accurate records Maintain HIPAA compliance at all time. Key Details: Pay: $19-$23/hr depending on experienceLocation: Rochester (primary location) with approx. 6 days/month in the Canandaigua officeSchedule: Rochester Office: any 8 hr shift between 7:30am-5:00pm.
