Role Overview
The Material Handler will perform receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping functions. Duties include physically handling a variety of products, both palletized and non-palletized, to fill customer orders with speed and accuracy - safely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inbound Receiving
• Order picking – potentially using powered equipment – product and/or equipment
• Counting of individual packages/pallets
• RF hand-held computer work.
• Processing outbound paperwork for both domestic and international shipment via Computer
• Processing of Customer returns
• Physically lifting packages up to 50 lbs.
• Loading Trucks and Ocean Containers
• Using safety equipment including safety knives, banding equipment, air bag fulfillment
• Cycle counting and additional inventory functions – as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Previous warehouse experience – 3-5 yrs.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and previous driving experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours.
• Able to perform repetitive motions including hand and arm motions.
• Attention to details.
• Team player, support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs
• Strong understanding of SAP
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
