Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the production support team, ensuring smooth operations on the production floor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, and physical stamina, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Range: $17
Shift: 6am - 230pm
What's the Job?
Moving pallets and materials around the production floor efficiently and safely
Reading and understanding work instructions in English
Counting and verifying inventory accurately
Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs
Utilizing basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
What's Needed?
Ability to communicate and read in English
Physical ability to stand, walk, and move pallets for most of the shift
Good counting skills and attention to detail
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
Basic computer literacy
