Adecco US, Inc. Machine Operator - B Shift in Rochester, New York
Adecco is actively hiring experienced Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility Gates, NY. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong manufacturing background who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and are committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of production equipment used in the manufacturing of flexible packaging products. You will play a key role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Shift Details
2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday
Hours: 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with opportunities for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate production machinery according to job specifications and work orders
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality
Perform in-process inspections to ensure products meet company and customer specifications
Accurately complete production, quality, and downtime documentation
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate more complex problems to maintenance as needed
Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production targets
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic technical documents
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Basic math and measurement skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in packaging, printing, or plastics manufacturing
Prior experience with extrusion, laminating, or converting equipment
Familiarity with quality systems and GMP standards

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
