KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Compliance Governance & Monitoring to join our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization.Responsibilities:Support the development and maintenance of firm-wide policies, procedures, controls, and standards for effective compliance programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practicesAssist in establishing governance structures to enable consistent implementation and oversight of compliance activities within ethics and compliance, Compliance Operations and across the business, including non-U.S. operations and subsidiariesEnsure effective monitoring of changes in legislation, regulations and industry and professional standards to ensure that ethics and compliance-related policies, training, processes and controls are updated accordinglyCollaborate with business functions to conduct assessments of compliance programs to evaluate their effectiveness and execute monitoring plans to ensure ongoing compliance with internal standards and external regulationsParticipate in regular reviews of the ethics and compliance program, identifying gaps or areas for improvementSupport the CECO's reporting to management and the board of directors regarding the effectiveness of KPMG's E&C programAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum ten years of recent experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields, preferably within a professional services or regulated industryMaster's degree, Juris Doctor or Advanced degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is requiredDemonstrated experience in supporting enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworksSolid understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methodologiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights to managementMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
