Responsibilities
The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Supply inventory consolidation
Equipment identification and data logging
Daily tracking and monitoring of equipment performance
Creation and development of facility response carts to be deployed throughout DLMP laboratories
Identification and documenting of high-risk areas for leak detection
Supporting DLMP Facilities team with ongoing equipment maintenance
Facility response to urgent issues
Qualifications
Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee
Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program
Must be returning to college in the fall
Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks
Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program.
SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
