Olmsted County Sheriff's Office Program Coordinator in Rochester, Minnesota
Job Duties
Under general supervision, applies for and manages grant funds, contracts, and supplemental funding sources. Coordinates and administers the SE MN Emergency Communications Board and Region 1 Emergency Management Board, including budgeting coordination, annual audit preparation, payment approvals, and grant oversight, in collaboration with other stakeholders. Provides strategic financial, grant, and administrative leadership support to the Sheriff’s Office. Leads Sheriff’s Office operational budget planning and capital improvement coordination in partnership with County Finance. Serves as the Sheriff’s Office liaison to Finance to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant budget development, financial reporting, and grant management. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, accounting, or related field and two (2) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
OR
Associate’s degree from an accredited college in business management, accounting, or related field and four (4) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
OR
A combination of education and experience equivalent to six (6) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in grant management and project management. Grant certification preferred.
